SALT LAKE CITY (Jan 23, 2007) - Galley 240, a new gallery located at 240 South 200 East in Salt Lake City, is currently featuring a 50 print exhibit of images by Walter Reichert. Walter is a photographer with a sensitive eye and a true respect for nature. He captures his images in medium-format and believes in a “result driven” process; a technique using film to give the highest result of reproduction. The prints in this exhibit represent a rebirth of archival quality exhibition prints. The prints are printed using the Giclée process.
Walter Reichert will be in the gallery screening room on Friday Feb 2nd to discuss his work, the archival processing and the techniques used to produce these images. The event will start at 7:00pm. For further information contact the gallery at 801-580-9337.
A second exhibit has just opened in another viewing area featuring striking works of Mexico by Julie Shipman.
